Hi! All of my fanart contains Joshua and Estelle from TiTS. I default to drawing them when I'm bored. I should really expand my horizons!

...i'm sorry that was a lot at once. >_< I want to do something big to commemorate SC in english and to celebrate ten years, not sure what though.

No, no, don't ever apologise for posting something AWESOME! Expanding your horizons is up to you, I guess, but I'm not complaining-- there isn't a lot of fan work coming out of the English Kiseki fandom, so I'm always happy to see some good stuff. I'd try to contribute more, but I dabble more in the writing side of things than the art side, and I wouldn't feel right writing fic until I've played SC just because so much is revealed in it. (I keep meaning to pull out my sketchbook and do some silly Falcom doodles sometime, but I always end up putting it off for some reason.)

    Thanks for your kind words!
I hope you do end up writing a fic- you're right about there being woefully little fan content from the English speakers. I've never even found a single english fic, you'd be a pioneer haha.

Ok, my post won't be very useful.

Just wanted to tell you, Kikixeni, that I looked at your fanarts, and I liked them!
    Keep the good work!

Alright. Took me a bit to find the time to write out a long and hopefully helpful post to how I see your art!

So to start, just wanna say I do like the fanarts, even if I have no played Trails in the Sky yet. That will change once we get it on Steam.
I like your penciling skills. I had no difficulty in understanding what was going on in each piece. I'm a pretty messy sketcher overall, and only I tend to get what goes on in my lineart till I get ready to ink it.

The last two drawings you did for really show how you handle sketching and penciling best. You show a more polished look with your style in "Gull Seaside Way ft. Chloe," it looks fully ready for the next step, and you definitely could go right into inking and coloring this traditionally or digitally. On the last picture you shared "If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, you've got mine" you show a much looser look, but still easy to see what we have in front of us, even if the background looks incomplete, we are given a sense of placement for the characters Estelle and Joshua.

Okay so I also want to talk a little on the colored images too. I really enjoy the first two best, and they look like your most recent because the coloring shows the most confidence and look the newest here. In "Really, with the stars as my witness..." the color scheme looks awesome, but the sky looks a little rushed and flat compared to the richness of the bottom half of the piece. I can understand wanting to go easier on the details for everything outside the focus area of Joshua and Estelle, but the blue used really did not add much to the piece for me. I think if you went darker on the blue, it'd contrast nicer with the yellow hues used for the lighting at the bottom.

For the other piece, the first one you made that does not have a title, I like the contrast you use for the two characters. The idea of one representing day, and the other, night, is a great way to show character contrast. My only real complaint is I barely can see the highlighting hue used on the skin. Another shade of the color on the skin would bring out the highlight color used on everything else.

Anyway from the fanarts, I think I got a good idea of what kind of people Estelle and Joshua are like.
    Thanks for sharing too!

Thanks so much for the comments, guys! Wow Leilee, thank so much for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate your criticism, they are very helpful, especially for the stars as my witness one. I hope you enjoy the game when you play it! I'm going to check out your tumblr!

well if I have something to say pay just attention to the perspective when you draws the scenery around your characters like in"Really, with the stars as my witness..." it's like the bench is going to fall or something ,I really like how you use the color on your draws I'm not as good as you on this

well I look forward to your next drawings and keep up the good work :)
